Baby Bob is a small robot with 2 arms that allow him to turn and an eye with a camera. This project is a group project imagined by Anthony ORQUIN gathering 15 people from different fields.

I had the chance to work on three main parts: the study, the design and the prototyping of the robot. This 8 months application allowed me to acquire new knowledge and to work in a group which is not always obvious. I was also able to confirm my passion for robotics and embedded systems.
Part 1: The study and research of the components
This part consists in defining the needs and the specifications to then look for the ideal parts to manufacture the robot.

A first financial report is then drawn up in the report below.
With this first balance sheet, a step back is made on all the parts constituting the project and choices leading to new constraints are established.
Part 2 : The conception
To continue the work done in the first part of the project, and following the new decisions, the search for components is carefully resumed. Once this work is done, the design of the motherboard can begin.
For the realization of this project, the manufacture of motherboard integrating a microcontroller is necessary. This part is essential to the proper functioning of the system. The motherboard allows to establish the communication with all the elements constituting the vehicle and the control system of the robot.
Each of the steps for the realization of the motherboard are explained in the file below.
Part 3 : Prototyping
The prototyping allows to test and verify the studies made during the first two parts. If the work is well done beforehand, the program of the different modules and the program of the general system, the one that will gather all the codes in one and only one. For my part, I worked on the part of the motors used for the movement of the robot. It is this part which is described below.
