The OMNICAR project, carried out in groups within the YNOV campus, consists of the complete creation of a radio-controlled car.

During my second year of training at the YNOV campus, I had the chance to work on a project to build a radio-controlled car. The project was made up of 9 people, that is to say the whole class.

Throughout this project, I had the chance to discover several ways of working and more precisely, I was able to familiarize myself with the work in V-cycle.

My mission within this project :

In order to distribute the work as well as possible between the 9 members of the team, a main function constituting the project was entrusted to each one. I had the chance throughout this project to work on the processing part of the remote control. This central role of the system allowing to control the vehicle remotely allowed me to work with a great part of the promotion. I could thus while working on a function, exchanged with several people what allowed me to learn more.

This work was not always easy. To carry out this project, I had to be the "team leader" of the remote control part in order to organize the work to be done. I also faced many difficulties that I invite you to discover in the project report below.

At the end of these first 5 months of work, the project is not fully functional. Having had to deal with design problems on my part, the remote control does not allow to control the vehicle. After many days of research and tests, the part used to program the microcontroller is not operational. Unfortunately, without this part, no program can be uploaded in the microcontroller, so no test with the vehicle is possible.

Despite this problem, all the continuity tests and measurements on each component that makes up the board have been verified and validated. These results show that most of the work has been done correctly.
